Hi, I’m Dave.
I’m a husband and father of nine, and I work in Catholic formation—helping form teachers and spiritual directors to grow in prayer and lead others to Christ.
But this podcast didn’t begin in a classroom.
It began at home.
Like many families, we were looking for something simple:
- something peaceful at the end of the day
- something meaningful, not just entertaining
- something that would actually help us pray together
So I started telling these stories.
Drawing from Sacred Scripture, the lives of the saints, and years of studying the world of the Bible—especially its historical and cultural context—these stories are designed to help children step into the story… and meet Jesus there.
Some are straight from Scripture.
Some are built from just a few lines—expanded carefully using what we know from history, tradition, and the wisdom of the Church.
But the goal is always the same:
to help families pray together, and to help children come to know and love Jesus.
